Joe Swash hits back after being dad-shamed on flight with five children
JOE Swash has hit back at irritable plane passengers after being dad-shamed on a family holiday.
The actor and presenter, 41, exclusively told The Sun how other passengers often shoot him and Stacey Solomon dirty looks on a flights abroad with their children.
He explained: “There are times when we get on a plane – all five of us – and people give us dirty looks because of the kids.
“You know, I’m like on the plane with five kids, and it happens quite a lot that people look angry about it. I’m always like ‘Come on, mate, I’m the one with the five kids and I don’t want these kids to be crying either’. Anyone who has kids has been in that situation though.”
Joe’s defence of his brood comes just weeks after Stacey shared photos from the outbound flight from their most recent holiday.
In one photo, Stacey smiled alongside Joe and their two daughters Rose and Belle.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that it appeared the person sitting behind Stacey had their bag hooked onto the back of her seat.
Pointing out that it could have been uncomfortable for her, one fan wrote: “Has the person behind you put a bag on your head rest? That would be straight off. Irritating the back of my head.”
Another posted: “How rude!”
A third commented: “Don’t worry. It will need to be put away on take off.”
The couple took their three youngest children Rex, four, Rose, one, and Belle away on the 10-day trip as well as Stacey’s eldest boys Zachary, 15, and 11-year-old Leighton from previous relationships.
