I had 10 kids in 10 years – it’s messy and they always fight… it’s NOT all sunshine and roses
A MUM who had ten children in ten years has opened up about the downsides of having a big family.
Cassandra Morrise and her partner Jacob are parents to nine sons and one daughter after welcoming them in quick succession.
Ever since they completed their brood, Cassandra, from Utah, has let her social media followers in on the ups and downs in their busy lives.
And in one of the latest videos shared to her TikTok profile @10kidsin10years, Cassandra has revealed her kids aren’t always happy about being part of a huge clan.
She took the opportunity to ask her kids directly what they thought about having so many siblings.
And their responses were very honest, as they confessed the tough parts included everything from the messiness and family fights.
Cassandra explained to her followers: “As promised, here’s the kids’ least favourite part about being in a large family.
“It’s not all sunshine and roses here. Having lots of kids brings in lots of personality, different opinions, noise, messes and annoyingly touching your brothers.”
The footage then played as each of them stepped forward to reveal their reason.
Eldest son Steven, 13, declared: “It’s always so messy.”
While Christopher, 12, added: “Everybody fighting over everything.”
William, 10, said he wasn’t a fan of it being “so noisy”, as Ryan, 10, said that sometimes his family members can become “so annoying.”
Spencer, 9, also had a similar thought when he branded his parents and siblings as “super bossy”.
But it was Max, 9, who pointed out that “everybody’s so noisy when you’re trying to go to sleep.”
The younger members of the gang also had their complaints, ranging from Thomas, 7, saying he didn’t like the “cleaning” involved to Henry, 6, saying that his younger sister Lily, 5, “always” touches him.
Lily’s reasoning, however, for not enjoying being a big part of the family was more unusual, as she said: “Doing swimming lessons.”
While youngest sibling Peter, 4, said he didn’t like that they had to “play outside.”
However, the children made up for it in another video when most were in agreement that they had “lots of friends” to “play with whenever” they wanted.
Others joined in as they said the house was always full of fun, games and love.
