I used to be insecure about my saggy boobs, stretch marks, & back rolls – now I know there’s nothing wrong with my body
A BODY-POSITIVE influencer has embraced her flaws and hoped to empower other women to do the same.
She said she used to be insecure about her boobs and stretch marks but not anymore.
Brooke (@brookepaintain) shared the video with over 580,000 TikTok followers.
The fashion influencer showed off her figure in colorful bikinis as she explained she’s grown past being insecure about her flaws.
“Things I used to be insecure about have learned to love,” the blonde said.
Sitting down in a chair, the blonde squished her belly, no longer worried about having a flat stomach.
She brought viewers closer to inspect the stretch marks in her bikini area, proud to normalize the flaws.
Other areas included saggy boobs, her back rolls, scars, and thighs that chaffed together when she walked.
Brooke explained that she was tired of trying to appear a certain way on social media and realized there was nothing wrong with how she looked.
“It’s crazy how easy it is to come across a certain way on social media.. whatever it is that you are insecure about, I promise it’s NORMAL and there is nothing wrong with your body,” she said.
She encouraged viewers to embrace what made them unique: “Everything about you, is what makes you, YOU, and I love that about you.”
People thanked her for the visibility and honesty: “Brooke this made me cry… I love you, girl,” said one commenter.
“I literally love you, you help me feel so confident,” said another.
Others explained they felt seen thanks to her video: “Thank you so much for this. It was so needed,” said one viewer.
