Starbucks brings back pumpkin spice latte today in menu shake-up with popular US treat – but fans will be divided
STARBUCKS is bringing back its popular pumpkin spice latte today – but fans will be divided.
The beverage is available to buy in more than 1,000 branches and for delivery alongside a host of new menu additions.
But some caffeine addicts will be left disappointed as prices have gone up.
The cost of a tall size is now £4.20 – 55p more expensive than last year.
It’s bound to leave some customers unhappy as they struggle with the cost of living.
That said, Starbucks is adding a host of other items to menus which fans will be buzzing about.
The Seattle-based chain is bring back three different variations of the pumpkin spice latte, including a cold brew and frappuccino option.
Meanwhile, an item that has been met with fanfare in the USA is coming to UK shores for the first time.
Cake Pops will be hitting restaurants in three flavours – Caramelised Biscuit, Chocolate and Birthday Cake – and all priced at £2.40.
The Caramelised Biscuit flavour combines vanilla cake and caramelised biscuit pieces with rich caramel spiced frosting, dropped in caramel gold chocolate and finished with a biscuit crumb.
Meanwhile, the Chocolate Cake Pop combines mini chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and is dipped in a blend of dark and milk chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle.
The Birthday Cake Pop features vanilla cake mixed with a strawberry frosting, dipped in strawberry flavour chocolate and dusted with sprinkles.
It’s not just Cake Pops hitting menus for the first time either.
A Pumpkin Marble Loaf Cake and Lemon and Poppyseed Muffin are available for customers to try from today too.
The Pumpkin Loaf Cake costs £2.90 and combines pumpkin spice and vanilla marble loaf cake with maple and caramel flavour frosting.
On top are crunchy pumpkin seeds and a caramel drizzle.
The Lemon and Poppyseed Muffin is priced at £2.65 and features lemon-flavoured muffin with poppy seeds topped with lemon icing and filled with a tangy lemon curd.
That’s not all – there’s even more items being added to menus for the first time.

- Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Seed Fritter Wrap – from £4
- Katsu Chicken Sub Roll – from £4.50

- Chocolate Brownie – from £2.50
- Pumpkin Marble Loaf Cake – from £2.90
- Lemon & Poppyseed Muffin – from £2.65
- Caramelised Biscuit Cake Pop – from £2.40
- Chocolate Cake Pop – from £2.40
- Birthday Cake Pop – from £2.40
Meanwhile, a number of items are returning, including the pumpkin spice latte and the three variations.
The Toffee Apple Muffin starts from £2.80, combining a soft toffee apple muffin with apple sauce filling, butter crumble topping, vanilla custard frosting and caramel drizzle.
The Fiery No’Chicken Wrap is back as well, costing £4.20.
That combines soy protein pieces with spicy firecracker sauce and creamy vegan mayonnaise and fake mozzarella.

It’s worth bearing in mind prices may vary depending on what Starbucks branch you visit.
The menu additions are available in-store and via Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats.
But Starbucks said they are only back on menus for a limited time, so you’ll have to be quick.
