Joe Jonas ‘filed for divorce after catching Sophie Turner on Ring camera’
JOE Jonas filed for divorce after allegedly catching Sophie Turner on a Ring camera.
Sophie and Joe’s four-year marriage is over and DNCE rocker Joe, 34, said their relationship was “irretrievably broken” in documents filed in the States.
It has not been made clear what Sophie was allegedly doing or saying in footage captured outside of their home.
But TMZ has reported that the alleged doorbell footage of Sophie was the “final straw” for Joe, who decided to end his marriage.
The Sun has approached both Joe and Sophie’s representatives for comment.
Joe is said to be repped by Tom Sasser, who handled pro golfer Tiger Woods‘ infamous divorce to Elin Nordegren.
A source shed some light on Joe’s reasoning for his decision, telling the outlet: “She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles.”
Sources also claimed that over the last three years, Joe had been caring for their kids “pretty much all of the time.”
Joe, who resides in Los Angeles with Sophie, is currently on tour with his brothers Nick and Kevin – TMZ revealed their children are with him.
Sources have also claimed that the Cake By The Ocean singer never wanted to separate and that divorce was a “last resort.”
“Divorce was a last resort for Joe,” an insider told Page Six.
“He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls.”
Joe and Sophie share two children – daughter Willa, three, and a one-year-old daughter whose name was set as “D.J.” in divorce filings.
The famous pair – who married in 2019 – have a prenuptial agreement and Joe had been looking for a lawyer for at least a week.
According to The Blast, the prenuptial agreement states that Joe will “keep all of his royalties from the music” with his siblings, while Sophie will keep the money she made from Game Of Thrones as well as “any residuals from her acting career.”
The homes that they bought before getting married will remain with their rightful owner.
