My family has lived in the same house for 20 years and just made a massive discovery after pulling up some of the floor
AFTER living in a home for over 20 years, a family had believed they knew everything there was to know about it.
One recent discovery, however, left them shocked.
A Sacramento woman who goes by Lil Star (@twinkle1214) on TikTok said she felt like a clown after learning her family had a secret room under its grounds.
In the clip, she pointed at a giant hole that had been ripped through one of the tiles and exposed a large underground space.
“My family has been living here for over 20 years and just today we find out that we have a basement,” she wrote alongside a clown emoji.
Her family members seemed to be standing around the hole, analyzing what was in it.
“You can’t tell in the video but trust me, it’s super deep and extends underneath the house.”
As for how they discovered the secret basement, the daughter said it was her doing.
“I stepped on it, and it caved in y’all.
“Imagine me falling down here.”
Viewers were both intrigued and slightly frightened by the ominous discovery.
“Alright we need a part two. I want to see that basement,” one wrote alongside frantic emojis.
“Yeah, it’s a no from me,” added another alongside a sweating face.
It seems many homeowners don’t really know the grounds they’re sleeping on.
TikToker Angie Hong (@mnature_awesomeness) quickly learned that there is always more to discover when a city worker showed up on her doorstep.
He pointed out the secret tunnel hidden beneath a manhole cover on her property.
“We have been in this house for 12 years and I have always just been like, ‘Oh yeah, isn’t that kind of crazy how we have a manhole cover in the middle of our backyard?’
“Turns out there’s a secret passage in it.”
