Parents are scrambling to get bargain shoes from Asda after savvy shopper nabs £70-worth of sandals for £6
ANY parent will know just how quickly a child can scuff up their brand new shoes.
So, instead of forking out a small fortune to replace them every time, a savvy shopper rushed to Asda‘s mega sale – and snapped them up for just £1 each.
Paige Scarborough took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and posted a photo of the six stylish pairs of sandals and sliders she managed to get hold of.
“GIRL MUMS run don’t walk,” she pleaded.
“ALL sandals £1 each at ASDA handsworth they had absolutely loads!!
“I’ve got £70 of sandals for £6!!! Bargain!”
Elsewhere, delighted shopper Becca Neville shared a photo of the 17 pairs of different kids’ shoes she snapped up for a hugely discounted price.
She wrote: “Tonight at Asda all kids sale shoes were reduced to a £1 – the man was putting tons of stock out.”

Deciding not to gatekeep the information, she revealed that she spotted the bargains at the Handsworth, Sheffield branch.
Among the shoes include pink sliders which had been slashed from £5, Minnie Mouse-inspired clog reduced from £7, and pink and white striped trainers that were £12.
The post quickly racked up over 137 likes and 129 comments, with many quick to commend Becca on her bargain buys.
“We need to get to Asda!” wrote one.
A second penned: “I just got loads myself we save £97 on all off them.”
A third tagged and friend and commented: “If you go to Asda have a look for me.”
Elsewhere, others weren’t quite so lucky. “My Asda was garbage,” wrote one.
Another commented: “There were no sales like this at Bristol cribbs causeway – was there last night in the hope of a bargain!”
And it’s not the first time shoppers have been racing to their nearest Asda branch in recent weeks.
Fabulous previously told how bargain hunters were rushing to Asda to bag bras for £2, with customers in disbelief that you could even get six for a tenner.
She shared a snap of the assortment of bras she’d taken home, including a two-set of orange and mint green bras.
Her mini underwear haul was completed with others in white, orange and bright pink.
She then wrote: “All £2 each from £14/£15.
“6 for £10 in total.”
