Elsewhere in Emmerdale, tensions continue to bubble with one couple set to separate and two familiar faces due to move away.
1. Huge family feud
Victor Anderson was found dead after suffering from a cerebral aneurysm in St Mary’s Church.
ITV viewers were horrified by the sudden death, particularly after Rishi Sharma’s own demise, but the biggest shock was left to Charles Anderson.
The local vicar portrayed by Kevin Mathurin is finding it hard to cope without his father and he is guilt-ridden for a sinister reason.
But this week, Charles has to face his mother Claudette’s grief as she makes a devastating admission.
Coming up, the grieving matriarch played by Flo Wilson confesses she needed Charles’ support more than she initially told him.
This makes Charles’ partner Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) feel guilty as the GP continues to keep his secret.
Claudette is completely unaware that Charles is responsible for his father’s reputation being considerably damaged.
Prior to his death, Victor had been accused of theft when a necklace left behind to Manpreet by Rishi was found in his pocket by the latter’s son Jai.
Manpreet, Claudette and Jai quickly jumped to the conclusion that Victor had taken the necklace for himself due to his history in prison.
However, Victor maintained he was innocent and fled the family home before the police came to find him.
It was later revealed that Charles had actually planted the necklace in Victor’s pocket in an attempt to get rid of him once and for all.
One fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their theory – what if Claudette found out what Charles had done and became hellbent on making him pay?
“Claudette could disown Charles once she finds out the truth”, the viewer penned.
“Manpreet was also in the wrong for allowing Charles to lie to his mother.”

2. Revenge plot
Meanwhile, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) struggles to cope in the aftermath of her rape this week.
The village favourite was left in a state of shock when Craig Reed (Ben Addis) forced himself on her.
In recent scenes of the Yorkshire-based drama, Lydia refused to open up about her ordeal, despite interrogations from Kim Tate (Claire King) who could sense something was troubling her.
To make matters even harder for her, Lydia was met with her husband Sam Dingle’s (James Hooton) eagerness to bond with Craig.
The newcomer is clearly powerful as he tried to flash his cash to Lydia to convince her to give him another chance.
Lydia burned the evidence that could have sent Craig down for her rape but, as time goes by, could she be tempted to get her own justice again him?
Could the usually kind-hearted family woman reveal a darker side of her personality by going after Craig alone?
3. Heated confrontation
Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) was left in tatters when her father Dan was sentenced for the death of her stalker Lloyd.
Dan enjoyed his last moments of freedom with Amelia and Esther in tear-jerking scenes before being thrown behind bars.
Since then, Amelia has tried to adapt to her new life, juggling with a job at Mandy Dingle’s beauty salon and her responsibilities as a mother.
Her boyfriend Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), along with Sam and Lydia Dingle, have all made sure to support her as best as they could.
But with Dan in prison and Amelia left alone to decide to settle in with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) in the Woolpack this week, viewers are expecting one soap legend to set things straight.
Actresses Michelle Hardwick and Laura Norton have been tipped to reprise their roles in the long-running show in upcoming scenes.
How will Kerry Wyatt react to Amelia’s new life?
Will she be at peace with Chas, who used to be her fiancé Al’s mistress?
“Kerry needs to confront Chas over Al who now has Amelia living with her”, one fan demanded on social media.

4. Couple headed for the rocks
Speaking of Amelia and her boyfriend Noah, soap fans have noticed her behaviour towards the lad is out of line.
This has prompted some of them to speculate the couple could be separated in a handful of weeks.
But could Noah take a page from Mackenzie Boyd’s book and cheat on his other half?
“Oh surprise surprise.. Amelia is horrible to Noah as usual and he’s like a lap dog… Then when in need suddenly needs Noah to the rescue”, one soap fan fumed.
Another vented: “I can’t stand Amelia’s attitude- now her father is locked up- for defending her after her irresponsible antics online- she can no longer bully her dad & now she’s doing the same to Noah.”
“Emmerdale needs to have a think around Noah and Amelia. She is abusive to him. If the sexes were reversed the storyline would be going down a very different route”, a third viewer explained.

5. Double exit twist
Gabby Thomas (played by Rosie Bentham) recently left the eponymous village for a break from all the drama abroad with her son Thomas Tate.
Upon her return from Portugal, the young mother realised that Nicky Milligan and Suni Sharma were slowly but surely taking their relationship to the next level, despite her own feelings about their situation.
Coming up, it appears she’s ready to turn over a new leaf, tired of the many reminders of her troubled past in the Yorkshire Dales.
Coming up, Gabby insists on selling up her shares of the many businesses she co-owns, from The Hide Bistro to The Hop.
She also maintains that she will be leaving the village behind for a fresh start.
But will she go through with it?
Kim Tate was less than happy to hear Gabby plan her departure but another Dales icon could support her and even join her.
This would be none other than her biological mother Bernice Blackstock as actress Samantha Giles has also been tipped to leave Emmerdale.
“So Gabby is saying she’s leaving on her own with baby Thomas… but what if Bernice is leaving with her?”, one viewer asked.
“We all know Bernice is set to leave the Dales again. Could it be for another foreign move like this?”
