Mum shares lazy girl dinner she serves son and friends – but everyone shames her & says they’d walk out on it
A MUM has shared her easy, go-to dinner that she serves her children and their friends when they come over.
But while many loved her lazy girl recipe, others slammed it and said they simply wouldn’t eat it.
A social media user revealed her foodspiration, as she explained her dish that she calls Loaded Potato Waffles.
In a video posted to TikTok, she explained: “When my son has his friends round after school, I whip up these indulgent Loaded Birds Eye Potato Waffles as a special sharing treat.”
She then showed the ridiculously simple step-by-step guide, as she said it only includes four main ingredients – waffles, chicken dippers, cheese and bacon.
Unveiling the technique, she began: “Pop Birds Eye Potato Waffles and chicken dippers in the oven until they’re all golden brown and crispy.”
Once they were cooked to perfection, the parent said it was time to create the dish.
She continued: “To assemble, I start with a layer of waffles and dippers in an oven proof dish.
“Then top with grated cheddar and red leicester and some bits of torn mozzarella – for pockets of string melted cheese – and a little bit of bacon for crunch.
“Whack that in the oven until the cheese melts.”
The finished result?
She said it goes down a treat with kids all of the time, as they can’t get enough of the flavours.
“This sharing dish never lasts more than a few minutes,” she concluded as the footage panned over the dish, which was oozing with melted cheese.
But not everyone was so convinced of the idea, as they took to the comment section to have their say.
One social media user slammed the idea, as they wrote: “If someone served me this I would actually go home.”

Another unimpressed person added: “I’d say I’ve already had dinner if I was getting served that.”
A third followed suit as they quipped: “It never lasts more than a few minutes because it gets thrown in the bin.”
And a fourth said: “This gives me ‘I cba cooking’ vibes.”
However, others jumped to the mum’s defence and said they thought it looked tasty – and that they’d have no qualms about tucking straight in.
One typed: “Why is everyone saying they’d leave?
“I’d be back every day if this is what would be served.”
A second foodie added: “That looks nice!”
