I’m A Celeb star reveals shock TV feud with co-star saying she avoided them on set in ‘difficult situation’
ROSEMARY Shrager has opened up about one particular star who she didn’t get on with during filming of a TV show.
The former Ladette to Lady star was in the I’m A Celeb Jungle for the shows twelfth instalment in 2012.
But Rosemary, 72, admits that filming her various projects over the years has not always been smooth sailing.
The celebrity chef has previously taken part in The Real Marigold on Tour and she reflected on her time on the programme.
She was not afraid to spill the tea on the co-stars that she got on with and others whom she didn’t so much.
The media personality explained: “I think the wonderful thing was I’d never been in a group before like that, and I was worried about it because I felt being in that group, I didn’t know if we would get on because I’m quite a strong person.
“My personality can irritate a lot of people…. So I sort of thought, well, I’ve got to be careful here.
“But then Miriam Margolyes was there at the airport, so that was the first thing I’d loved because she’s got a bigger personality than me, thank goodness.
“So she sort of she came and I shook her hand and she said, ‘I’m Miriam Margolyes, I’m a lesbian and I’m an actress’ or something liked that.
“I said, ‘yes, move on’… And from that moment onwards, we were friends.
The Real Marigold On Tour was a BBC travel documentary that was based on the hit film, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, which starred the likes of Dame Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Celia Imrie and Dame Maggie Smith.
It followed a group of elderly celebrities as they travelled around India to experience the culture as it aired from 2016 until 2019.
Rosemary took part in the many episodes of the series alongside newsreader Jan Leeming, Bad Girls actress Stephanie Beacham, as well as singers Patti Boulaye and Sheila Ferguson.
And she revealed that there was one particular female co-star that she had to mostly stay away from.
Rosemary said: “There was one person I didn’t get on with at all…well I’m not even going to say.
“But there was one person I did try very, very, very hard. So I had to stay well away because it was very difficult to be in that situation because she had too many hang ups and it was too much of a crazy situation.”
