A FOOD influencer has revealed the burger and cheese fries recipe that’s helped her lose 50 pounds.
She said the low-calorie meal not only keeps her on track but is super satisfying.
MaKayla (@makayla_thomas_fit) shared the recipe with over 1.5 million TikTok followers.
“This is a cross between my fiesta burger bowl and Philly cheese fries both in my holy grail cookbook!” she said.
The nutrition specialist explained that she had been on various diets for years, crashing and failing each one until she found one that worked for her.
She realized she could simply eat what she wanted in moderation, like cheese fries.
The content creator started off prepping two potatoes, slicing them into a fry shape.
Next, she misted the diced potatoes with oil, seasoned them, and air-fried them at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
To prep the burgers, she combined a pound of lean beef and taco seasoning, topping the fries with the meat.
She drizzled some red enchilada sauce, yogurt, and nacho cheese sauce, cheese, and pico to finish off the meal.
The burger meal prep totaled 285 calories, 7 grams of fat, and 28 grams of protein per serving.
