I’m A Celebrity comedian postpones sold out tour dates as he awaits birth of baby
A I’M A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here comedian has been forced to postpone his sold out tour dates as he waits for the birth of his baby.
The 36-year-old starred in the ITV reality show in 2022 as well as making appearance’s in EastEnders and Gogglebox.
Babatunde Aleshe has taken to Instagram to inform fans that he has had to “postpone” his sold out tour, titled “Babahood tour” as he awaits the birth of his baby girl.
The comedian penned to his 130k followers: “**UPDATE**. We’re so sorry to move tonight’s show as well as all shows up until 20th October due to the birth of my daughter being born overdue. I have had to make the decision to move these dates so I can be with my family at this time.”
“New dates will be released and allocated for everyone that purchased tickets. I look forward to seeing you soon and giving you a fantastic show. Old dates are listed here and new dates will be released with plenty of time to plan.”
Fans who had purchased tickets were not exactly over the moon to hear the news, but they were relieved that Babatunde prioritises his family.
One wrote: “Congratulations and good for you putting your family first.”
A second added: “GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY BABATUNDE!”
A third commented: “More blessings to you and yours my brother!”
A fourth wrote: “Sad to hear you’ve had to pause the tour but happy for you and your lovely family, congratulations.”

Babatunde Aléshé is married to his Jamaican wife Leonie Aléshé.
They got married on September 18, 2015.
Leonie runs her own travel firm and works with time-crunched women to create and grow profitable travel businesses.
Together they have a son, Judah.
In recent years, Babatunde has toured Britain doing stand up comedy.
He won Best Newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards and has performed at venues like the O2 and the Hackney Empire.
In 2019 Aléshé won the Amused Moose National New Comic Award and was selected to appear on Dave Chapelle’s live showcase The Process.
Babatunde played Sam, the specialist nurse who tended to Tanya Jessop (Jo Joyner) when she had her first chemotherapy session in 2011.
A few weeks later Sam had to tell Tanya that her friend and fellow cancer patient, Siobhan, had died, and looked after her when she has a panic attack.
