Shoppers are racing to Asda to snap up homeware that’s been slashed in the mega sale – and prices start from just 45p
DINNER plates are something we use every day, so it’s inevitable they’ll receive a few knocks and chips along the way.
But, if you’re looking to replenish your dinnerware sets, then now could be the perfect time…because there are many bargains to be had in Asda‘s mega sale.
Shoppers have been racing online to show off their hugely discounted bargains – and with prices starting from as little as 45p, it’s little wonder they’re so delighted.
Zoe Louise took to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a snap of her monster haul – including two sets of Mickey and Friends 12 piece dinner sets and Alice in Wonderland mugs, which had been slashed to just 45p.
Alongside the image, she penned: “Asda Ferring, all for under £16.
“I never find decent bargains.
“Over the moon with this lot!”
And she wasn’t the only one thrilled with her bargain buys as thrilled shopper Chanel Marshall also rushed online to reveal her sale bargains.

“Dinner sets £2, roaster £1.88 and oven mitt £1,” she wrote.
“Did have cups and coasters for 90p and 50p too.”
Meanwhile, Stephanie L W Lloyd posted a photo of the Stitch-themed 12 piece dinner set she snapped up for just £4.
She wrote: “£4!!!!!!! This was in Asda Llangefni (N.Wales) BARGAIN (last one on shelf but whether they had more in the back).
The posts have since racked up hundreds of likes and comments between them, with many social media users quick to commend the bargain hunters on their incredible finds.
“If these dinner sets r down to £2 will you get them for me pleaseeeee lol,” wrote one.
A second penned: “I never see any bargains like that!”
A third shared her bargain 12-pieced bunny dinner set and wrote: “£4.50 today very happy!”
Meanwhile, a fourth enthused: “OK so we neeeeeeed Asda.”
A further added: “I am so jel! I never get any bargains when I look in Asda!”
And one more enthused: “Well done you!”
