She scored just three points less than fellow actor Nigel Harman who scored a whopping score of 32 by the judges.
Although the star had a strong showing in the first week of Strictly Come Dancing, it seems she may have had a stop in momentum.
The pressure is on as this weekend will see the first where couples with the lowest judges score combined with the fewest public votes face the dance off.
Her professional partner Vito Coppola took to his Instagram story of the pair’s rehearsal.
The former soap star was seen sitting on the sidelines as she put on tape and applied cream to treat a mystery foot injury.
Later, she reposted the short clip onto her own story, but she revealed more details about her condition.
She captioned the video: “Gearing up for the day!”
Ellie added: “Two pink toes and counting, these blisters aren’t messing!!!!”
However, she was soon back on her feet during the run-through as she sported a plunging black crop top, black leggings and a flowy orange skirt.
The star was seen joking around with her partner as she attempted to show off her moves.
However, they didn’t necessarily go down in the best way with her instructor as Vito sarcastically declared: “I didn’t teach that!”
