Paris Fury and husband Tyson reveal newborn son’s baby name after welcoming seventh child
NEW parents Paris and Tyson Fury have revealed their newborn son’s name.
The couple welcomed their seventh child in the early hours of the morning on Monday 18 September and have now shared that he is called Prince Rico Paris Fury.
In a new interview with OK! Magazine Loose Women panellist Paris, 33, said that the tot’s middle name is a tribute to heavyweight champion boxer Tyson‘s late cousin Rico Burton, who was murdered in 2022.
“All of my kids have got unusual names and obviously it’s also really personal to Tyson,” she said.
“We also added my name because I’ve had seven kids and I still haven’t had one named after me, so Tyson thought, ‘Come on, it’s about time!’”
Their family tradition of naming their sons Prince as a first name, was Tyson’s idea.
When the Gypsy King allowed the cameras into his family life for his 2020 documentary, he told them: “I’m a King and they’re Princes until they earn their rightful name.”
Rico is a little brother for their other six children Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah, four, and Athena, two.
Paris told OK! that Venezuela has been a massive help since Rico was born, and she even stepped in to lend a hand on the new mum’s photoshoot with the magazine.
“Venezuela is really interested in the baby,” Paris said..
“She keeps playing with him and feeding him – I think she sees him as a little doll.
“The kids are all really good with him actually.
“We’re just trying to keep things safe and keep him out of reach because one of them will probably try and put him in a doll’s pram one of these days!”
She’s been even more of a help as Tyson ended up missing Rico’s birth.
“Usually he’s there by my side, but he had to bail out because he’s fully immersed in training at camp,” she explained.
“He was there until a few hours before Rico was born.
“Things were going quite slowly, so it seemed like the baby wasn’t going to come until the next day.
“Tyson left and my mum came in, she was my second birthing partner.
“His dad came in and saw him soon after.”
As for who the baby looks like, Paris thinks he is the spitting image of his big brothers.
“He’s dark and he’s got lots of hair,” she gushed.
“I’m biased but he’s good looking! He’s really long, like his dad. All the Furys have long arms and long legs!
“They’ve all been really strong early on and they can pull their heads up!
“He’s perfect. I’m all gooed up with him at the minute.”
And despite the fact that Rico is Paris and Tyson’s seventh baby, she hasn’t ruled out having more kids in the future.
She also refuses to listen to trolls who criticise them for having so many kids.
“Every time we have another he says, ‘No more Paris! It’s too hard!’” she said.
“But then the child will get to nursery age and I always think ‘Oh I’d like a newborn!’

“I’ve always wanted a big family. I’ve seen a few negative comments saying, ‘Oh they’ve got so many kids’ but we’re looking after them, we’re feeding them, I protect them all.
“They’re all happy and healthy and they all love each other, so I don’t see the problem.”
This comes after the pair previously opened up about how they felt to be in the blissful baby bubble, where the childhood sweethearts said they couldn’t be happier.
In a sweet statement to OK! Magazine just hours after his birth, they revealed: “We’re over the moon to have welcomed our baby boy to the Fury family.
“Our boy is the most perfect addition and we’re bursting with love for him.
“It’s crazy how you can love someone so quick.”
They also shared the first snap of their new bundle of joy, as Paris cradled the 6lb 13oz little boy in her arms.
The couple – known for their love of unusual monikers – have previously spoken about the meanings behind their other children’s names.
However, each of their son’s monikers also have a further hidden meaning, according to baby name experts.
Starting with their eldest Prince John James, the website Babynames says that John is of Hebrew origin and also means “God is gracious”.
Prince Tyson II, named after his famous father, inherited the meaning of his name, which is “ember” or “firebrand.”
Meanwhile, their third son is called Prince Adonis Amaziah. Adonis has links to the word “Lord,” and Amaziah represents strong or of strength.
The boys’ sisters also have very unique monikers.
In a past interview Tyson said they had settled on Venezuela – inspired by the country located at the northern end of South America – after he had a dream about the name.
Tyson told The Guardian: “One night, while I was sleeping, I thought of Venezuela. My wife is called Paris. I’m Tyson. If the girl had a normal name it wouldn’t fit in, would it?”
They named their second little girl Valencia Amber, presumably inspired by the Mediterranean city.
Valencia translates to “brave and strong”, the baby name pros at Nameberry state.
And their second to youngest daughter – Athena – is also closely linked to the name of a city.
Name experts have shared: “The name Athena is primarily a female name of Greek origin that means Goddess Of Wisdom and War.
“The city of Athens, Greece was named after the goddess Athena.”
