Foodie shares the easy four-ingredient recipe for McDonald’s air fryer cheese melts and they’re SO tasty
A FOODIE has shared the easy recipe he uses to recreate McDonald’s cheese melts at home, and even says they taste better.
Josh and Joe regularly share easy, tasty recipes on social media, but their McDonald’s dupe has been a huge hit.
The easy recipe calls for just four-ingredients and takes just eight minutes to cook in the air fryer.
“Air fryer Babybel Bites,” they captioned the post.
In the clip, the pair started by unwrapping six Babybels and setting aside for later.
They then took a bag of chilli heatwave Dorito crisps and emptied them into a bowl before smashing the crisps into tiny pieces and adding some pepper to season.
Next, the foodies coated the Babybels in floour and beat two eggs together to coat the Babybels.
Once coated with the eggs, he then put the Babybels into the Dorito crumbs for a crunchy shell.
They placed the Babybels in the air fryer with some baking paper and sprayed with a little cooking oil before cooking at 200degrees for eight minutes.
Once cooked, they took out the cheese melts and the gooey cheese pull was enough to make anyone salivate.
The clip posted to their TikTok account @jjscrans has since gone viral with over 500k views and 38k likes.
People rushed to the comments and many claimed they couldn’t wait to give them a go.
One person wrote: “Oh my Christ. That looks delectable.”
Another commented: “Literally maccies ones.”
“Better than,” replied the foodies.
“Omg I need to try,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Gotta make these!”
“This looks amazing,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Have to try.”
