I live in a 250-sq-ft tiny home – I’ve gotten rid of 70% of my stuff but my ‘casita’ has a great patio & a full kitchen
A HOME owner has gotten rid of 70 percent of all her worldly possessions to fit into her tiny home.
But that was no hardship for her because her “casita” is perfectly proportioned for her needs at just 250-square-feet.
But small doesn’t mean going without because she has a full kitchen and a great patio.
Sashee Chandran’s (@sasheec) abode is in Southern California.
The design of this mini house is suited to the climate in this sunny area.
Sashee loves it: “Living in 250-square-feet. It’s actually not bad. Great outdoor space.”
The footprint of the property may be small, but the outdoor areas that wrap around it, make her living space seem so much bigger.
Which was just as well: “I spend a lot of time outside,” she wrote.
Inside, the impression was one of light and airiness.
“Surprisingly I have a full kitchen, stove, and oven,” she said as she gave viewers a tour.
“Here’s my living room and my large coach which surprisingly fits.”
Her bedroom and bathroom made the interior of this home work very well.
“I feel very grateful,” she admitted.
Before moving in, she did a thorough edit of all her possessions and didn’t regret it.
“I got rid of 70 percent of my stuff. I don’t miss it.”
Viewers to her post considered her home to be just perfect.
“I love everything about your living space. Thank you for sharing,” said one person.
Another could see the appeal: “Less cleaning. I love it.”
A third person was impressed: “This is a dream. You have an amazing space.”
And a fourth was equally enamored: “The outdoor space is so liveable most of the year in southern California. It just extends your living space beautifully.”
