Furious Strictly fans claim star was ‘severely undermarked’ amid judges sexism row

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans think Angela Scanlon has been “severely undermarked” on the show.

After receiving a total of 29 points from the judges, fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to address their concerns.

One fan said: “Angela S undermarked Angela R overmarked”.

Another added: “Angela S is going to be consistently undermarked and Angela R overmarked…”.

A third fan wrote: “Angela & Carlos totally underscored there!! Come on judges”.

Fans accused Shirley Ballas of alleged sexism when she awarded lower points to female contestants over the weekend.

During her younger years, she was a well-versed Irish Dancer, she partook in competitions all over the world.

In the 2000s, young Angela was on Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast alongside Ronan Keating.

The star has presented various shows including The Voice UK back in 2015 and The One Show.

She also hosts a very popular interior design show called Your Home Made Perfect on BBC Two.

She’s been married to her husband Roy Horgan for just over nine years and they share a daughter together.
