I always felt like the biggest person in the room & tried to make my legs smaller – now I love my jiggly, squishy thighs
A CURVY queen is done feeling insecure about her figure.
While she used to be hyper-focused on the size of her legs, she’s now unafraid to take up space.
TikToker Julia Dawn (@lovejuliadawn) wants to inspire her followers to “feel good in the skin [they’re] in,” as her bio claims.
She recounted the way she used to feel as an insecure young girl and noted the powerful shift in her mentality.
Wearing a pair of cut-off denim shorts, the plus-sized beauty flaunted her buxom legs.
“Back in school I used to sit on the very edge of my chair,” she began in the clip.
She inched herself forward to the very tip of the chair so that her thighs would hang in the air in front of it, rather than remain squished and flat on the seat’s surface.
“Or lift my thighs up so they would look smaller.”
She kept her feet pointed on their tiptoes to prove how it worked.
When the frame changed, however, she stared directly at the camera and sang along to a song to express how sorry she felt for her former self.
“You were only seven years old,” she mouthed with a frown.
Now a self-love pro, Julia said it wasn’t always easy being one of the bigger kids.
“I always felt like the biggest person in the room, and that felt like the worst thing I could possibly be.”
Today, over a decade later, she feels differently.
“Thank goodness I love my jiggly, squishy thighs now.”
Viewers in the comments said she wasn’t alone.
“I am so glad to know I wasn’t the only one who did these things as a kid,” one person wrote.
“This is so relatable, it makes me sad for my younger self,” added another.
