Frantic EastEnders fans ‘having panic attacks’ as Theo’s stalking hits new low and Whitney recounts horrific abuse
EASTENDERS fans have been blown away and left having ‘panic attacks’ after Theo Hawthorne’s stalking reached a new low.
The twisted teacher has become obsessed with Stacey Slater in recent months, and she has desperately been trying to get a stalking order put in place and get her life back.
But in tonight’s episode, things didn’t go to plan, as despite her heartfelt appeal at the hearing, it was decided that the order wouldn’t be granted.
Meanwhile Freddie Slater headed off to confront Graham Foster – his mother’s rapist – after receiving a friend’s request from him on a messenger service, and Whitney Dean dealt with the trauma of being groomed by Tony King as a teen during a meeting with a social worker as she bids to foster with boyfriend Zack Hudson.
Stacey was also heard delivering two powerful monologues during the episode about how bad men try to ruin women’s lives, and how they always get away with their actions, while good people get hurt along the way.
She said: “It’s like whatever you do, they’ll always win. The good ones always end up hurt.”
As she finished her second monologue, Theo was seen on his mobile phone outside the hearing, switching his messenger account from himself to Graham Foster, Freddie’s dad, revealing it had actually been him who had messaged Freddie earlier in the episode.
Also on his list of profile’s were Stacey, Eve Unwin’s dead twin sister Erica and Stacey’s dead husband Bradley Branning.
EastEnders viewers were shocked by the extent of Theo’s obsession with Stacey and the wider Slater family as well as her friends, and took to X – formerly Twitter – to discuss.
One wrote: “Eastenders ending in tonight’s episode has caused me to have a panic attack and caused my heart to race – it’s okay I forgive you guys – I’ll put my mental health through it’s paces for you guys.”
Another added: “The Theo and Freddie twist I didn’t expect that!”
A third tweeted: “The ending omg.”
Others were full of praise for the BBC soap for producing such an “incredible” episode.

A fellow fan replied: “EastEnders is on top form at the moment. What an episode.”
