I’m a style pro – there’s nothing worse than having bloody heels from new shoes, 2 blister products truly saved my life
A STYLE expert has revealed how she protects her heels from blisters when she buys new shoes.
Although she doesn’t run, she said runners must use her hack because it works so well.
Lauren (@lauren.k.miller) shared the advice with over 15,000 TikTok followers.
“Nothing is worse than having bloody heels after wearing new loafers or loafers you’re breaking in for the first time this season,” she said, holding up her new kicks.
Unfortunately, as the prophecy foretold, she was sporting a blister thanks to the shoes but not to worry, as she had a solution in hand.
“I have two products that have truly saved my life and hopefully yours,” she said.
“I’m not a runner but I feel like runners HAVE to use these, they are 11/10.”
First, for pre-existing blisters, she recommended Dr. Scholl’s Blister Cushions, $8, to cover up the pus.
She applied the band-aid-like product, sticking the patch on the bump.
“See how it just covers and cushions the little blister and oh my god, prevents all rubbing, you can walk around freely without screaming in pain,” she said.
For blister prevention, she recommended using PreHeels’ Barefoot Blister Prevention spray, $19.
“This is for if you don’t have a blister but you feel like the rubbing could start [one], keep this in your purse,” she advised.
People thanked her for her foresight and trusty recommendations.
“Cannot thank you enough for sharing this,” said one grateful commenter.
“Wearing loafers to a conference in a couple of weeks, thank you for this!” said another.
