Netflix confirms return of beloved series after rave reviews with first look at season 3
NETFLIX has confirmed the return of a popular series after outstanding reviews with a first look at season 3.
The LGBTQ+ coming-of-age romance’s second season received rave reviews by viewers.
Heartstopper will return for a third season after two incredibly successful seasons, the most recent of which was only released in August.
Netflix said little about the show’s return, simply saying: “Heartstopper season 3 is now in production!!!”
Fans were ecstatic to hear the news the show is coming back to screens.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter one fan wrote: “This is so exciting, I can’t wait!!”
A second exclaimed: “Best news ever!!!”
A third penned: “Oh my god! Yes.”
A fourth wrote: “So ready for this!”
Fan favourite couple, Nick and Charlie, who ended the first season together after a persistent will-they-won’t-they plotline, served as the focal point of the second season.
In August the show’s creator, Alice Oseman confirmed that Ben (Sebastian Croft) won’t be making a comeback to the Netflix series.
The ending of season 2 saw Ben show up at the Lambert LGBT art show, where he told Charlie (Joe Locke) that he was saying goodbye Truham.
