Helen Flanagan hires mechanics to rip apart her £70,000 car after losing family heirloom
CORONATION Street’s Helen Flanagan has hired mechanics to take the seats out of her £70,000 car after losing a family heirloom down the side of the seat.
The soap star accidentally dropped the rings of a sentimental necklace between the seats and is now determined to find them
Helen took to her Instagram story and said: “I went to London the other week, I wanted to borrow my mum’s necklace.
“She has this really nice Cartier love necklace. I asked my mum if i could borrow it because it matched my outfit.
“Long story short, when my nana wasn’t well, during COVID, she was in hospital, I gave her the necklace because i knew i couldn’t see her so i wanted her to wear it.
“When my nana passed away she had the necklace. My mum then wanted the necklace because my nana used to wear it.
“There’s three rings on this necklace. I said to my mum, be really careful so that the rings do not come off. When she passed me the necklace they just literally fell.”
The rings fell deep between the car seats.
Helen managed to retrieve two of the bigger rings but could not get a hold of the third.
She then went to the garage to remove her entire car seat. She said that although the ring isn’t worth much, it’s still very sentimental.
The 33-year-old got her £70k Audi earlier this year just after she ditched her smaller Range Rover.
Helen is best known for her role as Rosie Webster in Coronation Street. She also starred in the twelfth season of I’m a Celebrity UK.
She shares three children with ex-fiance Scott Sinclair. The star quit her role on Coronation Street to focus on being a full time mum.
