My tiny bathroom was small and ugly – I gave it a budget DIY makeover, a simple touch elevated the heck out of the space
A TINY bathroom has been given a stunning makeover by an enthusiastic DIYer.
She transformed the small and ugly room into an elegant and classy space.
But it was the addition of one simple touch that elevated the heck out of her gorgeous glow-up.
Even better, she didn’t break the bank either, completing the project all on a budget with plenty of imagination.
Adrianna (@adriannaasantiago), who boasts a following of 68,000, was delighted with the finished look.
“Budget bathroom makeover,” she said in her post.
“Nothing a little paint, wallpaper, and peel and fix floor tiles can’t fix,” she figured.
First off, she wanted to remove some of the fixtures.
“I removed these slats that made my bathroom feel cluttered.”
In their place, she pasted some board wallpaper, which was also paintable.
“I slapped on some paint that elevated the heck out of the space,” she wrote.
Then she installed some wooden trim. It wasn’t easy, but she persevered.
“The fact that people can install trim is beyond me because that crap was hard.”
Despite not having much DIY experience, this lady was prepared to give it a go.
“I laid down this peel-and-stick tile [next]. And again I had no idea what I was doing but I did it.”
Finally, a cabinet she bought from Facebook marketplace for $45, was converted to a vanity unit.
The finished look was, according to viewers, “beautiful,” and “awesome.”
Adrianna was thrilled with her efforts: “Bam! you can borrow me,” she said beaming widely.
More commenters piled in with their praise.
“You frikken rocked this,” said one person.
Another thought she might have a future in DIY: “So beautiful. When are you going into business doing this? You’re so gifted. I want to hire you.”
A third person thought she had created an amazing space: “You are a magician.”
