My home’s previous owner left behind their fancy fridge – it’s totally unnecessary but the coolest thing in my house
A REMODELER has inherited a “totally unnecessary” refrigerator, but she loves it.
She said the previous owners of her home left the fridge behind, and it’s the coolest thing in her house.
TikToker Helena (@heyitshels) has been documenting the process of buying a home for the first time.
She stitched a video of her favorite feature in the home and said she would “100 percent recommend” the gadget.
“Show me one of the coolest things you own in your house,” the person in the original video said.
Helena then filmed her fridge.
“This is an LG InstaView Door-in-Door fridge that the previous people left, and it does this,” the content creator teased.
Helena then knocked twice on the front of the refrigerator door, and it went from being opaque to being translucent.
“It’s a quick way to view what you’ve got in the fridge without opening the door to keep your food fresh,” she explained.
“It essentially has two doors. You can access the first bit for all your daily items, such as butter and milk,” Helena continued.
The content creator knows the fridge is extra, but she loves it.
“Then you’ve got the second door, which is the main fridge that you can access. Totally unnecessary but it’s great,” Helena admitted.
A 30 cubic-foot Smart InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerator is on sale for $3,199, according to LG’s website. The original price was $4,599.
Conversely, a standard LG refrigerator retails for $700.
Helena originally posted the video in 2021, and two years later, still still loves the unique appliance.
“Hi, would you still recommend this fridge 2 years on?” one fan asked.
“Yes, I love it,” Helena answered.
Some people were curious why the original owners left the gadget behind.
Helena revealed that they “moved abroad.”
