I work with dogs – 8 breeds I wouldn’t get, a ‘not cute’ kind always has one brain cell and another is an actual psycho
WORKING with dogs has helped bring some clarity to one woman over which breeds she would never get.
Of the eight types that made her short list, she described one as “not cute” and having only one brain cell.
As for another popular type, she didn’t hold back, calling it plain psycho.
“Dogs I wouldn’t get as someone who works with dogs,” said Milstil (@bonkbreath).
But, she added in her post, these were “just my opinion.”
First up was the Malinois and they were too high intensity for her: “Will bite you. Too energetic.”
It was the dopey doodle next: “Always have one brain cell. Not cute in my opinion.”
They were followed by a breed she loved, but they came with their own troublesome traits.
“Pit Bulls. Love them but they always have skin issues.”
But there was also another side to their character that was problematic: “Behavior is very unpredictable with other dogs.”
The Jack Russells did not come out well on her list. As far as she was concerned they were: “Actual psychos.”
The furry Husky was next and they had a bit of attitude: “They talk back and are stubborn.”
Lolloping behind the Husky was the giant St. Bernard and any other of the big droopy breeds.
She explained her dislike was because of their dribble factor: “I don’t do drool.”
From large dogs to little ones, next came the French Bulldog.
“So cute but it sounds like they might die when panting,” she said.
The final pooch on her list was a powder puff in the form of the Bichon Frise.
But she was not enamored with this breed one little bit.
“Another crusty white dog. Ugly,” was her damning view.
Commenters to her post were in agreement with her summing up.
One said – half-jokingly: “I have a Jack Russell and can confirm they are psychos but only on days that end with a Y.”
There was more recognition from this owner: “I love my Jack Russell. We’re both psychos so it works out.”
Can’t do the spittle, said this person: “Same with the drool. I’d always wipe it off on them when they got me.”
And another dog pro offered her experience.
“After working at a dog daycare I don’t understand how people can want to won doodles or Frenchies. They’re the worst.”
