I turned pool noodles, a mop stick, and hangers into spooky Halloween decor – it was all just $15 from Dollar Tree
A DIY pro has proved she was able to create a scary skeleton from ordinary materials.
She used a mop, a pool noodle, a hanger, and $15 worth of items from the dollar store to create the haunting Halloween decor.
TikToker Luna Flores (@louflores_) is no stranger when it comes to DIY projects.
She didn’t back down when one follower presented her with a dare.
“Can you make a Spirit Halloween animatronic skeleton for under $15? This will be a challenge for you,” the person wrote.
As shown in her video, Luna went to Dollar Tree to pick up some products.
She bought a black pool noodle, a plastic chain, two plastic skeleton hands, a mop, and an electric candle.
She also purchased a plastic black tablecloth, black hangers, and two packages of “creepy cloth.”
The first thing she did was zip-tie a paper towel holder to a circular laundry basket. Then, she taped a mop stick to the towel holder.
Next, she used a hanger for the shoulders, taping it over the bar code on the mop.
For the arms, she cut the pool noodle in half and zip-tied each one to one end of the hanger.
Then she “shoved” the skeleton hands into the noodle and “it stuck.”
She took the table cover and taped it around the skeleton’s waste.
Next, Luna draped two creepy cloth fabrics around the arms and over the body.
For the final steps, the TikToker placed a mask over the top of the hanger and added the plastic chain to one of the skeleton’s hands.
The last thing she did was position the electric candle in the other hand.
Spirit Haloween’s animatronic 6-foot skeleton costs $300, according to their website.
The same skeleton can be purchased on Amazon for $295.
