Big Brother bosses reveal rejected applications from former show stars – and their CHILDREN
THE highly anticipated reboot of Big Brother is JUST around the corner.
Fans of the ITV show are desperate to know who will be living in the iconic house as part of the social experiment.
The Big Brother bosses had to narrow it down to just 16 housemates after 30,000 people applied to take part in the show.
According to The Guardian, the programme’s casting executive, Jay Khagram, revealed that some of those who applied were very familiar faces.
Previous stars of the show, as well as their kids, applied to be one of the final 16.
Jay thinks that the programme will now “represent different sections of society” as time has changed since it was last on our screens in 2018.
Big Brother makes its epic return this Sunday on ITV.
The show will be hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best.
Host AJ has hinted at the programme’s rumoured £100k prize fund.
Speaking with the Rolling Stone magazine, AJ hinted: “There is so much money on the line, thousands and thousands of pound on the line.
“Life changing amounts of money.
“If you think that I’m gonna be in a house with a complete stranger and not potentially betray them, for thousands and thousands of pounds, you’re wrong.”
Big Brother was last on our screens five years ago on Channel 5.
The show has given a reboot by ITV, and a new batch of housemates will be entering the house this weekend.
