I’m told my outfits are inappropriate for a mom but I don’t care – there’s no dress-code, let me live
A MOTHER has clapped back at haters and naysayers who criticize her clothing choices.
She said she’s not changing her style any time soon because being a parent doesn’t come with a dress code.
Ab (@th3.0nly.ab) filmed herself sharing why she refuses to appease the critics in a video on TikTok.
“You can’t be a mom and dress like that,” read the text, echoing commentary from others.
“Me not giving a f**k because y’all [are] weak,” she quipped.
She gave her two cents on the matter in the caption of the video.
“Being a mom doesn’t mean I have a dress code,” she added in the caption.
Ab’s page included other TikToks on the ups and downs of motherhood.
“Is becoming a mommy terrifying?” read the text on another video.
“No, I don’t think so,” she said. “It gets hard and that’s the way it is, you know?
“But everything must come to an end. It gets easier,” she added.
In yet another video she shared more comments she gets from haters on motherhood.
“Someone: Don’t have a baby, it’ll ruin your mental health,” read the text.
“She made it better,” Ab replied, referring to her daughter.
The video came as part of a trend on social media where people share their takes on parenting and personal style.
Many mothers are coming out in defense of their choice in fashion regardless of what the critics say.
