I’m a 43-year-old mum with no wrinkles – I swear by an 18p hack that gets the same result as Botox, it’s just stickier
A 43-YEAR-OLD woman has shared the super cheap and extremely simple hack that she swears by to get rid of wrinkles.
So if you don’t fancy having needles in your face, you’ll need to listen up, as according to red-haired mum Kate, her 18p trick gets the same result as Botox – it’s just slightly stickier.
Sharing her anti-ageing tip on social media, Kate explained why banana skins (yes, you heard that correctly), are great for exfoliating your skin and keeping it moisturised.
It might sound odd, but Kate shared a clip of her demonstrating the budget method, as she claimed why it is beneficial for those wanting youthful-looking skin.
The wrinkle-free mother said: “Okay, so a few of you have been asking me how I use the banana skins for my face.
“I have done a video on it before, but not to worry, here it is again.
“So what you’re gonna do, you are gonna get the inside part of your banana skin and literally all you gonna do is rub that over your face.”
Kate then revealed why doing so is beneficial, as she claimed: “Now, this is a brilliant exfoliator. It’s brilliant for moisturising the skin.
“It’s got enzymes in it which act really as nature’s natural Botox.
“So this is brilliant for fine lines and wrinkles. It’s really, really easy. Takes two minutes to do.
“I tend to do it all over my face. Leave it on for five, 10, 15 minutes and then you’re gonna wanna rinse it off with warm water and pat dry, and that’s it.”
So if you fancy giving this hack a try, but don’t have any bananas left in your kitchen, you’ll need to head down to the supermarket immediately.
You can nab single bananas from Tesco for just 18p, making this hack an incredibly cheap alternative to the pricey face creams flooding the market.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @365gethappy, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly racked up a staggering 186,500 views in just 16 hours.
Social media users were impressed with the cheap hack and were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Going to try this in the morning.”
Another added: “You have lovely skin defo gona try this.”
A third commented: “I’m going to buy some bananas and try this tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, another skincare fan posted: “I love your natural beauty tips!”
Meanwhile, many other beauty fans admitted that they had tried Kate’s hack and were very impressed with the results.
One woman claimed: “And just like that you have me hooked.”
A second chimed in: “This is my new skincare routine since one of your last videos.”
Whilst someone else wrote: “I do this. Makes your face so nice and smooth.”
