I rebuilt my core and lost weight after kids with four exercises – the first is just breathing & number 3 uses a pillow
GETTING in shape after having a baby is never easy as adjusting to life as a new mom is often very busy and chaotic.
However, a TikToker has revealed that it’s possible to sculpt defined abs by doing exercises that require very little effort.
Niki Z (@nikizoub) boasts over 836,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares quick workouts for women who have minimal time to spend at the gym.
She took to the social media platform to recommend exercises that were effective for her own body transformation after having a baby.
She flaunted her enviable figure in a white sports bra and gray leggings as she filmed herself working up a sweat at the gym.
The text over the video read: “Top four exercises that restored my core after pregnancy.”
Niki looked almost unrecognizable in a photo taken after giving birth but before she had overhauled her physique.
She had a curvy frame, with a slightly round stomach, and a larger chest as she took a selfie in a plunging black bra and pants.
In the gym, the fitness fanatic showed that she had slimmed down to get a slender frame with definition in her abs and hamstrings.
She demonstrated a selection of body weight exercises as a list of how many repetitions she was doing for each showed on the screen.
The text over the video read: “TVA pull (breathing exercise) 12 X 3, reverse plank 12 X 3, pillow squeeze 12 X 3, and beast holds 12 X 3.”
For the first exercise, Niki kneeled down with her hands stretched in front of her on the floor as she inhaled deeply.
She looked extremely focused as she moved into a reverse plank, before laying on the floor with a pillow in between her legs.
She finished the session by getting into a similar position as the first exercise and balancing her body in the air.
The only equipment that she used during the workout was an exercise mat and a pillow for the squeeze movement.
She promoted her coaching service in the caption of her post, writing: “If you want to rebuild your core and lose weight after having babies, I can help you.”
The video went viral with over 1.1 million views, 90,000 likes, and many people saving it for their own workouts.
One person wrote: “I’m never getting over this comeback like are you kidding [fire].”
Another asked: “How long did it take you to look like that because that’s where I’m tryna be.”
A third said: “You look beautiful! I have two months left and THAT’S IT! No more babies! Gonna go do this workout and get back in shape.”
A fourth added: “You’re my motivation baby! I’m starting this week. I’m five weeks postpartum c-section! I’m ready to do the damn thing.”
Niki’s post came after she previously gave a glimpse into the diet she paired her workout regimen with.
During her body transformation, she ate oats topped with sauteed apples, coconut oil, nut butter, agave, and cinnamon for breakfast.
Snacks after included tortilla chips, carrots, and eggs.
At lunchtime, she enjoyed a plate full of chicken with jasmine rice and salad. She then had an iced matcha and cookies in the afternoon.
Niki’s dinner included protein pasta in tomato sauce followed by a small waffle with ice cream and syrup for dessert.
