I went to get my eyelashes done but the beautician hated my ‘horse hair’ moustache so she waxed it off, I’m mortified
SHE just wanted her eyelashes done.
But when she went to the beauty salon, Char ended up getting the full shebang – when her beautician complained about her “horse hair” moustache.
“I wanna share with you guys what just happened to me when I got my eyelashes done,” Char said in her TikTok video.
“Cause I don’t quite know how I feel about it!”
As she was laying there, having her eyelashes done, the woman asked if Char had previously had her brows tattooed.
When she said that she had, the woman then said they were “orange”.
A little while later, the beautician asked if Char shaved her eyebrows.
“And I was like, yeah, guilty. I do. I do. If I’m running out of time, I just quickly give him a little shave underneath,” she recalled.
The woman then asked if she could wax Char’s eyebrows, as well as tint them.
As she had the wax on her brows, and Char was fanning her lashes dry, the beautician asked if she shaved her top lip as well.
“Because it’s scratching my arm!” she said.
Struggling to contain her laughter, Char remembered that the woman then said she’d wax her top lip.
But instead of listening to her protestations that “it kills”, she just ignored her and had already started applying the wax to her top lip.
“Let me wax it,” she’d said.
“Get rid of that hair, because it’s like horse hair!”
Char added that all she’d gone in for was her eyelashes, but she ended up having her lashes done, as well as an eyebrow wax and tint, and a top lip wax.
“Then as I was walking out I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m like a new woman!'” Char said.
“And she was like, ‘Bye, enjoy your holiday without your moustache!’ “
“The shade! I’m freezing by sitting in this shade honey!” Char concluded of her “mortifying lash experience”.
Despite saying that, Char added in the caption: “I am 100% returning to this lady, she is fabulous!”
People quickly commented on the video, with many remarks coming from actual beauticians.
“I’m a beautician myself,” one wrote.
“I once started waxing my clients top lip only to find out she was booked for brow wax.
“Luckily she was laughing!”
“As a qualified beautician… we can’t help it!” another added.
“We are constantly studying faces, but we mean well!”
To which Char replied: “That is what makes you great at your job!”
“We just want the best for you,” a third commented.
“Oh my gosh I’d be mortified!” someone else wrote.
With Char responding: “No she is lovely and I did have a fat tash!”
