Aldi shoppers rush to stores to bag a Halloween bargain, it’s £4.99 and it will transform your home
SPOOKY season has arrived – which means it’s time to kit the house out with Halloween themed decorations.
But with the cost of living crisis, and the price of everything going up many may be reluctant to splurge out on new products for their home.
According to the House of Commons Library the cost of living increased sharply across the UK during 2021 and 2022.
The annual rate of inflation reached 11.1 per cent in October 2022, a 41-year high, before subsequently easing.
And recent data shows it fell from 6.8 per cent in July to 6.7 per cent in August 2023.
Inflation ultimately affects the affordability of goods in everything from household furniture to the cost of food and drink.
Which is why it’s great when products are at a super cheap price which will help when it comes to saving the pennies.
And one budget supermarket is helping shoppers with this.
It means that you can get into the Halloween spirit and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
The hashtag #PumpkinCushions is already reaching over 100k views on TikTok.
And Aldi are selling boucle cushions are fast becoming the latest autumnal homeware trend to take over social media.
Aldi shoppers can get the latest look by picking up the 3D Pumpkin Cushion in-store now for just £4.99, and they can save up to 67 per cent compared to leading retailers such as John Lewis.
Many Aldi fans have taken to TikTok as well to share how they are loving the cushions.
Alicja Marcelina Lekawa shared a video which ended up having thousands of views.
Many have been using them to decorate their sofas or the corners of their living rooms.
Commenting on some of the videos, some fans have said how their local stores have already started to sell out from them.
One advised other shoppers to not give up and “go to other Aldi shops”.
She said: “I had to visit a few stores before I got them”.
Someone else simply wrote: “Ooh love these.”
