A FOOD influencer has shared the chicken salad recipe that helped him lose 95 pounds.
He said the meal is his go-to secret and he makes it by swapping out mayo.
Benji (@benjixavierr) shared the recipe with over 360,000 Instagram followers.
The content creator explained the key to his 95-pound weight loss was simply to eat fewer calories: “It means instead of that Whopper, have a chicken salad,” he said.
To make the chicken salad that he loves, he started off with shredded rotisserie chicken, red onions, cilantro, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and two avocados in replacement of mayo.
Next, he added lime juice and mixed up the ingredients.
He even added a hack for an elevated way of enjoying the salad: “My favorite way of eating it is on a lettuce boat,” he said, scooping the salad onto a leaf of lettuce and adding a dash of hot sauce.
He explained that the key to weight loss is simply consistency.
“There is no secret,” he said.
