Big Brother’s Farida accuses the housemates of breaking HUGE rule as she takes parting shots at Kerry
BIG Brother’s first casualty Farida Khalifa took a parting swipe at rival Kerry Riches before she was booted out – and hinted that their fellow housemates had plotted for them to go.
Farida, 50, was the first contestant to be evicted from the BB house on Friday night after finding herself up against Kerry, 40, following nominations.
But Farida made sure to stick the knife in hours before the women learned their fate, claiming the younger housemates had planned for them to be at risk.
Big Brother rules state that contestants cannot discuss nominations with each other, but make-up artist Farida believes they deliberately ‘”stuck together”.
She told NHS manager Kerry: “To be honest, all the youngsters stuck together and they got out the oldest people. Which is fair enough, but it’s going to get harder.”
Housemate Olivia, 23, giggled, to which Farida shouted: “Don’t laugh, because it’s not nice!”
Twisting the knife later in the day, Farida then appeared to warn Kerry that she was fighting a losing battle if she was deliberately befriending Hallie Clarke, 18, just to stay in.
“We’ve had a great time and we can put on our profile we’ve been in the Big Brother house,” Farida said.
But when asked by housemate Zak, 28, if their nominations were an “age thing”, Farida added: “Social dynamics is how I see it.
“If I was in your position [Zak], I’d be looking after my mates too. It’s just the norm, it’s what we do.”
Kerry shot back: “But Hallie’s my mate and she’s the youngest.”
But Farida told her: “No, you’re not even hearing me out. You’re asking me a question and then not hearing me out.
“Hallie’s your friend. Right, okay, she is. I know you want to be her friend.”
Kerry was furious with Farida’s turn of phrase.
“Want to be? That makes me sound like some kind of…” Kerry spat.
But refusing to back down, Farida continued: “I deal with this in my day to day job.
“When you’ve got parents and the parent wants to befriend the child. And they forget that they’re the child and I’m the mother.”
Hallie, who revealed on the first day of Big Brother that she’s transgender, overheard the conversation and was not happy.
“I’m not a child though,” Hallie interrupted. “I’m a grown woman. I’m 18.”
Kerry, meanwhile, shouted: “I don’t want to be her mum!”
She then stormed off, adding: “I’ll pretend you didn’t say that. Have a word with Zak before I lose my f***ing mind.”
Farida and Kerry’s dislike of each other has continued to grow throughout the first week of Big Brother.
Tensions really picked up during the housemates’ first shopping task, which saw them working side by side at ‘Big Bro Ltd’.
Speaking in the diary room before the results were announced, Kerry said: “Am I going to be bothered if Farida goes? No.
“It’s going to be a great head-to-head. May the best woman win.”
