Strictly viewers ‘call 999’ over judge’s bizarre behaviour, asking ‘Is he ok?’
STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers all said the same thing after Anton Du Beke’s comments after Krishnan Gugu-Murthy’s performance.
This evening the Channel 4 newsreader and pro dancer Lauren Oakley performed the Pasodoble to the Red Hot Chilli Pepper’s tune By The Way.
Krishnan certainly impressed judges Craig Revel-Horwood, Anton du Beke, 57, Motsi Mabuse, 42, and Shirley Ballas, 63, with his moves.
He managed to get a whopping 28 out of 40.
Anton in particular was a huge fan, copying all the moves that he did at the start of the performance.
Many fans took to X to point out that it was a little over the top.
One said: “Bit much Anton.”
A second wrote: “Anton’s critique,” with a laughing emoji.
Another joked: “Someone call 999 for Anton :).”
Earlier on in the episode Ellie Leach fought back the tears after the judges ‘harsh’ criticism.
The former Coronation Street actress danced the Samba to Barry Manilow’s tune Copacabana.
Despite scoring 28, the soap star thought that she had let pro dancer partner Vito Coppola down.
Meanwhile others were left distracted by an ex contestant’s ‘attention grabbing’ antics in the audience.
Kym Marsh – who took part in the show last year – was “screaming like a banshee”.
