I live in a council house but no one can tell – it’s all thanks to my B&M and Ikea bargain buys
A WOMAN who lives in a council house has revealed how she made her bedroom look expensive with bargain buys from the likes of B&M and Ikea.
Celene set out to prove you don’t have to splash the cash to make a huge difference when it comes to home transformations.
Taking to TikTok (@61thecouncilhouse), she shared a video showing off the super stylish interior inside her council home.
She proudly penned: “POV: You live in a council house but nobody can tell.”
And for anyone looking to following in the bargain hunter’s footsteps, then you’re in luck…because savvy Celene revealed exactly how she did it.
But while it may look like she forked out a small fortune, she instead achieved the polished final look using bargain buys from B&M, Ikea and H&M.
Responding to several requests in the comments section, she explained how she painted the walls using Dulux paint in shade ‘pale walnut.’
She then bought bedding from B&M and completed the look by adding a plant and cushions from Ikea, and basket from H&M.
