Stacey Solomon reveals genius idea to deal with odd socks – and they’ll never go missing again
IT’S one of life’s biggest questions…where do your lost socks actually go?
Let’s face it, there are few things more frustrating than doing a wash, only to end up with no matching pairs of socks..but luckily DIY Queen Stacey Solomon has come up with a genius trick so they’ll never go missing again.
In a clip posted to BBC’s TikTok, the Sort Your Life Out host explains: “I don’t know about you, but we’ve got a sock monster in our house that always eats one sock when it comes out of the wash.
“So I’ve made this odd sock board.”
The 33-year-old then goes on to say how it’s super easy to make and is basically just pegs glued to a piece of scrap wood that she painted black and decorated with a vinyl sticker.
“Anytime an odd sock comes out the wash, you just peg one on here,” she says.
“And then hopefully, by the time you got through all your washing,
you’ll find it’s true love in another wash somewhere, and then you won’t have socks anymore.”
She adds: “And if you’ve gone through all the washing and you haven’t found its soulmate, then it’s got to go.”
