My home is ‘Fall-o-ween’ HQ – I DIYed a jack-o-lantern arch for the porch, all it took were Lowe’s and Target buys
A DIY whizz has shared her affordable Halloween arch project with materials from Lowe’s and Target.
She joked that the DIY turned her home into “Fall-o-ween” headquarters.
Karlee (@karleegailbowmanofficial) shared the project with over 20,000 TikTok followers.
“Welcome to your Fall-o-ween headquarters, here’s how we made our pumpkin arch,” she said.
To begin the project, the content creator had a variety of carved jack-o-lanterns prepped and ready to go.
She set the pumpkins down on a sheet of paper, ready for a good ‘ol spray of paint.
“Spray a variety of jack-o-lanterns with different shades of off-white, looking back I would not use spray paint, I would use something that’s more durable,” she advised.
With zip ties and the help of another person, she attached PVC pipes to her porch railing.
Next, she made two little holes in the back of each lantern and zip-tied the lanterns to the PVC railing.
“Just stack the jack-o-lanterns on the PVC pipe and this turned out so cute, I love it,” she said.
Karlee said the extra touch really elevated their home for the holiday: “Absolutely magical.”
People were obsessed with the creative DIY and took to the comments to share their thoughts: “Fabulous,” said one commenter.
“It looks so good! I want to do this but black,” said another who was feeling spooky.
Others inquired about the pumpkins: “Where did you find those pumpkins?” asked one viewer.
Karlee revealed she relied on affordable finds for the DIY: “Lowe’s and Target! I’ve seen them at thrift stores too!”
