PS5 Slim release date has leaked as details of special Spider-Man 2 bundle emerge

GAMERS are getting exciting over a potential PS5 Slim release date that’s been leaked.

And it looks like Sony is planning something extra special to mark the occasion too by bundling the new console model with a highly anticipated new game.

The PS5 Slim was expected to arrive sometime in November.

But according to leaker billbil-kun, the exact date it’ll land is on November 8.

They claim a disk drive console bundle with the new Spider-Man 2 game will be sold.

One small caveat – the leak applies to the US only for now.

So we’ll have to wait and see whether the same bundle and release date are available in the UK and other countries.

Apparently a full release of the console will happen on November 10 in the US and Japan.

Sony claims the slimmed down build is a third smaller than the original PS5, as well as being a lot lighter.

A new detachable disc drive will also be available, which players can buy and attach to their system at a later date.

The PS5 Slim with disc-drive is set to cost £479 ($499).

Meanwhile, the digital edition will cost £389 ($449).
