Love Island winner goes back to his normal job just 10 months after winning £50k prize
HE may have won Love Island ten months ago, but Kai Fagan is already going back to his old job.
Kai was a semi-professional rugby player and PE teacher before heading onto the reality show for season nine.
Kai Fagan has returned to his previous job[/caption]And the 25-year-old has decided to go back to his rugby career, revealing the news on social media.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Kai told his fans he made his Jamaica rugby debut against Luxembourg.
Sharing a carousel of snaps from the game, the reality star wrote: An honour to make my Jamaica ruby debut away against Luxembourg. To Top it off we got the W.”
Kai previously played rugby 7s for Jamaica, before playing for Burnage RFC.
He also worked as a teacher and has expressed a desire to return to teaching and complete his training.
Last month he told his Instagram followers: “Teaching is an unbelievably rewarding profession that doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves for the impact it has.
“It’s always been my intention to complete my ECT year and I’m hoping this is something i can still do in the future.
“This years been a hectic year where I’ve experienced things I could only dream of and I’m so grateful for. ”
Kai rose to fame after appearing on the UK’s hit show Love Island as an original cast member.
During Casa Amor, Kai met bombshell Sanam Harrinanan and they quickly became fan favourites.
They went on to win the series with an astounding 44 per cent of the overall vote.
