Survivor viewers slam show for ‘boring’ challenges as huge reboot fails to impress
SURVIVOR viewers have dubbed the BBC reboot “‘boring’ after just six episodes – raging ‘this is dead!’
The reality show returned tonight after 21 years, with Joel Dommett hosting the reboot.
Survivor sees 18 castaways head to the Dominican Republic for the “ultimate physical and psychological game”.
The castaways found themselves stranded in a beautiful tropical location, where they were then split into two tribes.
These tribes would go head-to-head in various challenges, all in the hopes of winning rewards and immunity from elimination.
The competition was fierce as they battled it out to secure their spot in the game and avoid being voted off the island.
But viewers were not impressed with the episode, and branded some of the challenges ‘boring’ as many said they were ‘switching off’.
Taking to X/Twitter, one wrote: “I’m switching over, this show is dead.”
A second added: “These challenges are boring! Anything else to watch?”
A third wrote: “This is nothing like the US version. It’s no good.”
A fourth raged: “I can’t be bothered to watch this c**p.”
A fifth complained: “Joel Dommett is not the right host for this.”
