Drivers are only just realising £3.75 essential from The Range will banish mould from your car in winter
DRIVERS have discovered a £3.75 essential from The Range that will banish mould from their cars in the winter.
The cold weather can increase the changes of mould growing in your motor – but TikToker Michael Rubino revealed the cheap product that will stop it from growing.
In his video, Michael recommends drivers regularly check their AC and heating and suggests using car mats to stop mould getting in your vehicle.
He said: “Fit your car with water proof add-ons like rubber floor mats and seat covers.
“Keep up with the AC and heating system and make sure a mechanic checks it over regularly to make sure its working properly.
“Try to avoid eating and drinking while driving as much as possible, so you don’t have to deal with spills or crumbs.”
Drivers can purchase car mats today from The Range for as little as £14.99 and can pay in four instalments of £3.75.
This will save you time and stress from dealing with a mouldy car this winter.
Other tips that Michael suggests to prevent mould from getting in is to “make sure windows are rolled up tight” when you get out of your car so no outside moisture can find its way in.
“Clean up any water as soon as possible, when a moisture event occurs wipe it up as soon as you can,” he adds.
People have praised Michael’s “amazing” TikTok video.
One person said: “So important and nobody knows about this.”
If mould does get into your car, drivers can use a combination of white vinegar and hot water or sprinkle baking soda on the mouldy spots to remove it.
If you do spot mould in your car it is important to remove it as quickly as possible, as it can lead to health issues and also permanently damage your vehicle.
