Mice hate my two-ingredient cleaning solution – just spray your windows and doors to do two jobs in one
IT’S getting cold outside and some little critters want to take up residence in your cozy and warm home this winter.
But nobody wants mice squatting in their house, and one TikToker has come up with a special potion that she promised would deter them.
She has come up with a novel approach in her mission to get rid of mice but also allows her to attend to household chores at the same time.
Her two-ingredient cleaning solution gave unwanted visitors their marching orders, while at the same time providing a spray that spruced up windows and doors.
Anything helps busy Brandy Bradley (@brandybradley2), a mom of five.
“Got mice?” she asked her viewers in her post.
She had a suggestion that was simple to execute and didn’t put a strain on your wallet.
Into a spray bottle, she added water, white vinegar and peppermint oil.
This combination was guaranteed to offend the senses of any passing mouse, she figured.
“Mice hate the smell of white vinegar and peppermint,” said Brandy.
But there was a bonus to this anti-critter potion.
“Mice repellent can also be used as an everyday cleaner.”
As far as she was concerned, it did a good job at deterring rodents in her home.
“It worked well in our house. I sprayed it around the doors and windows, and cleaned the areas where the droppings were.”
She had some further advice: “We sprayed where we found droppings around the windows, around the doors, pretty much everywhere.”
To avoid further infestation, one commenter had some advice of his own.
“It also helps if you block any holes through walls, pipes etc, using foil or steel wool.”
