Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers shares cancer battle update as he returns to work amid ‘ongoing treatment’
THE Hairy Bikers star, Dave Myers, has recently shared an update on his battle with cancer as he bravely returns to work while undergoing ongoing treatment.
Despite facing a challenging health journey, the TV star is not letting it slow him down.
Dave, 66 is keeping himself busy by returning to work and defying the odds.
The Hairy Bikers opened up about their latest project and health on Wednesday’s episode of BBC Breakfast.
Dave, alongside his fellow Hair Biker Si King, gave a promising update on his ongoing battle with cancer.
BBC Breakfast host Jon Kay asked: “David, you told us when you were on here a few months ago that you were being treated for cancer – how are you doing? You look really well.”
“Yeah, I am doing alright thanks, Jon. I am still doing treatment but everything seems stable,” Dave responded.
He added: “I’ve been back with my best mate on the bike filming and doing the books, and back to work. So it’s all pretty good actually, I am really enjoying life at the moment.”
The BBC star has been open about his cancer journey ever since he was diagnosed last year.
It forced him to lose all of his hair and his iconic beard.
In October Dave revealed how he has dedicated recipes for his upcoming book to the people who cared for him during his cancer battle.
In April, Dave broke down in tears after celebrating a significant milestone following his battle with cancer.
