I flew to Turkey to get my teeth done – trolls say they look like dentures & I’ll regret it but they’re worth the money
A WOMAN who jetted off to Turkey to get her teeth done has hit back at cruel trolls who said it looks like she’d had dentures put in.
Martina Rose decided to jump on the rising trend of ‘turkey teeth’ and fly there to improve her smile.
The 28-year-old shared her journey on social media and explained that she’d opted for crowns in her mouth.
Martina, who’s on TikTok at her profile @martinawrightshowjumping, then uploaded a video detailing her three-day experience.
In another clip she also appeared to unveil the finished result – smiling brightly for the camera and giving people a glimpse of her new pearly whites, as she wrote: “this is your sign to go get Turkey teeth.”
And it didn’t take long for the trolls to rear their ugly heads and slam her decision and what they looked like.
“I’m not being nasty but you would be cheaper with white false dentures as that’s what they look like – sorry not for me,” one person wrote on her social media page.
A second joined in, as they added: “Why would you even consider grinding healthy teeth down?”
And a third typed: “All of that… for that?”
And another said: “Turkey teeth are hideous, wouldn’t have them for free.”
Meanwhile, others also questioned her choice and said they wouldn’t be easily fixed if they went wrong.
One person said: “I suspect you will regret this in years to come.”
As another commented: “You will regret this.”
But Martina had a surefire way to silence her critics – as she revealed that she hadn’t even posted the finished look and that people had jumped to conclusions.
When one person commented “going to be honest, they don’t look good”, she responded directly.
She wrote: “Social media is so judgemental.
“I’ve not even posted anything of my teeth now they’re done – I only posted my temps.”
And she went on to say that she didn’t regret her choice one bit, revealing that it “doesn’t hurt one bit” and wishing others who are having similar done the best of luck.
She concluded: “I hated my teeth [before]. They were chipped and one was starting to decay.
“I love my new smile.”
