Axed Channel 4 series SAVED in shock buyout as new boss tells fans ‘it’s a priviledge to bring it back’
AN axed Channel 4 series has been saved from the TV graveyard and will be back on screens soon.
Beloved show Find It, Fix It, Flog It was canned by bosses at C4 back earlier this year, leaving fans devastated.
It ran for six series before being consigned to the TV graveyard.
However, digital station UKTV have announced they’ve acquired the show’s rights and it’ll be back on air.
Two brand new series have been ordered and the show is now in production – with filming kicking off on Friday.
It’s original hosts Henry Cole and Simon O’Brien will be back together as they rummage through garages, sheds and barns for precious items.
Find It, Fix It, Flog It will be broadcast on the Yesterday channel in 2024 in a prime time slot.
Speaking about its return, Yesterday’s director Gerald Casey said: “As a long-time admirer of Find It, Fix It, Flog It, I’m really pleased that we can bring the show to Yesterday.
“It’s a privilege to give Henry, Simon and the rest of the crew a home so they can continue to showcase their amazing skills and ideas when transforming things sitting in people’s sheds and garages into cash.”
In a video message to fans on social media, co-host Henry Cole said: “Hey look we’ve got some fantastic news, right.
“Me and the jelly bean [Henry’s dog] and that is that Find It, Fix It, Flog It is coming back on a new channel, a new home – and that home is Yesterday.
“Simon will be there, all the regulars will be there. We could not be anymore excited.
“We start filming tomorrow.”
