Emmerdale legend reveals huge career move after giving up fame
EMMERDALE actor Lyndon Ogbourne has well and truly turned his back on fame and is making waves for himself with a totally new career.
The star appeared in the popular Dales based ITV soap opera as Nathan Wylde back in 2009.
Nathan caused chaos with a string of storylines over his 18 months on the show including finding himself under the clutches of show villain Declan Macey as well as enjoying a flirtatious relationship with Katie Sugden.
However, after quitting life on the soap, Lyndon, 40, has seemingly turned his back on fame in order to embark on a totally new career.
These days, he is enjoying life as highly successful production designer working within set dressing and the art department at LSD Studio.
In this role he has already climbed up the ranks to the the creative lead and now finds himself working with a series of A-list names across many different projects.
Lyndon’s creative flair has seen him create the sets and backdrops at a variety of celebrity events as well as working across magazine covers and album shoots.
The former actor has worked with leading model Bella Hadid on a top magazine cover shoot and formed firm partnerships in the world of visual art.
As well as working alongside Spice Girls star Geri Halliwell and singer Tom Walker, he has even put his name to create leading ad campaigns with top fashion brands including Nike and ASOS.
Rita Ora, Louis Theroux and Slowthai count themselves among other names who have had the chance to work with Lyndon.
Outside of his ever-growing career, the former soap star is a father and welcomed a son, Jack, in 2020.
He and wife Marina confirmed the news at the time on Instagram with a series of sweet pictures and videos.
Lyndon wrote: “Jack River Ogbourne. 03.02.2020.
“Marina, I didn’t realise I could fall deeper in love with you, but I have. You’ve brought us an actual angel.
“Thank you. Overwhelmed beyond the stars.”
Lyndon also shared video footage of him carrying baby Jack out of hospital.
He wrote: “The smiley bear is ready for home time” as he shared a snap of Jack wearing an adorable onesie.
The little one also held on to his daddy’s finger during a nap as new dad Lyndon shared the special moments online.
