My mom is 50 and gets complimented on her wrinkle-free skin every day, her ‘holy grail’ product costs just $18 on Amazon
A SKINCARE enthusiast has revealed her Japanese mother’s secret routine for wrinkle-free skin.
She said her 50-year-old mother is always complimented on her skin, and her “holy grail” anti-aging tips can be purchased via Amazon.
TikToker Gwyneth Yuma (@gwynethyuma) created a video about the three products she and her mother love to use.
“My mom is 50 and she still gets compliments on her skin almost every day,” Gwyneth said. “Today I’m gonna share her secret.”
In the caption, the influencer said the items were her mom’s “holy grails.”
“The very first thing she does every single day is apply Japanese sunscreen, specifically the Anessa sunscreen,” Gwyneth said.
“This is one of Japan’s most popular sunscreens but you can also order on Amazon,” she shared about the $27 product.
The second sunscreen in Gwyneth’s routine is the Nivea sun super water gel, which costs $17 via Amazon.
“It doesn’t have a sunscreen texture or feel to it and it feels so nice on your skin,” she said. “It’s super refreshing and super moisturizing.”
“Both of these are great under makeup,” Gwyneth claimed. “My skin has become noticeably softer and smoother.”
“If I had to pick a favorite for skincare, I would pick the Anessa,” she said.
“But if I had to pick one for drier skin and one that’s more affordable, I would go for the Nivea one,” the TikToker revealed.
Gwyneth and her mom, Hiroko, also like the Goku Zune premium hydrating milk.
“It’s one of Japan’s most popular moisturizers. It’s also only $10 on Amazon,” she said. “It makes my skin so soft and so smooth.”
Currently, the product retails on Amazon for $18.
There is a science to back up why Gwyneth’s mother appears younger than 50.
Multiple studies have confirmed that routine use of sunscreen has an anti-aging effect.
“Sunscreen used on a daily basis reduces skin aging,” Dr. Lena Von Schuckmann, a dermatologist in Australia, told the New York Times.
