My anti-aging method looks super stupid but you’ll see a difference in a week – it gets rid of crepey, hooded eyelids
A 54-YEAR-OLD woman has shared the skincare tricks she uses to maintain a youthful complexion.
The beauty expert talked her followers through her five-step anti-aging routine.
In her video, Cristina (@cristina.noh) showed viewers her method for “improving hooded crepey eyes, under-eye bags, and an anti-aging routine.”
The TikToker, who describes her “skin as a flex,” revealed the first step of her practice.
“First thing you’re going to do is, maybe three times a week, incorporate some kind of facial massage or facial rolling or facial gua sha into the routine,” Cristina explained.
She recommended applying a medium amount of pressure and moving counterclockwise around your eyes.
“What you’re trying to do is improve your circulation,” Cristina told viewers.
She suggested working on your eyebrows and forehead, all the way to your hairline.
For her next step, Cristina highlighted the importance of microcurrents when it comes to preventing visible signs of aging.
“You’re really going to make sure you’re getting that microcurrent up to your forehead and you’re almost toning those muscles,” she explained.
Cristina demonstrated with her own microcurrent appliance, creating a lift for her eyebrows.
She advised her audience to carry out the skincare step at least twice a week.
For her third step, Cristina showed her followers her go-to eye exercise, which she said may look “stupid” but shows quick results.
She explained: “So what you’re going to do is you’re going to curve your fingers all the way around your brow and hold them in the shape of the brow.
“You’re going to lift that up and really give yourself resistance just like it’s an exercise.”
Cristina told her viewers to make sure their cheeks remain still and to look up and down 20 times.
She advised her audience to do the move at least five times a week, revealing that they “will see a difference within a week.”
Cristina also emphasized the need for a consistent skincare routine every morning and night.
Finally, she shared the product she uses to help with circulation around the eyes.
“I take my castor oil and after I do my skincare, I [apply it around] my eyelids and I make sure that I get all of my actives,” she explained.
Cristina added: “That’s really going to move the blood and make sure that the coloring and the circulation is really there.”
Her followers took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the advice.
“I love your videos but I feel like I’ll be doing nothing but working on my face every day, morning time and night. They’re great though!” wrote one viewer.
Another TikTok user said: “This is awesome. I’m going to give all this a try. I’ve been doing this, but not with the castor oil or the eye exercises.”
“I appreciate this so much! My eyelids are so puffy. I’m really struggling with it,” commented a third person.
